Read the full disclaimerWhat it is
Scalp psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune condition with rapid skin cell turnover, thick silvery scales, redness and inflammation. It needs medical care — nothing in this guide replaces it.
Where gentle washing can help
- Gentle, fragrance-free cleansing avoids common irritation triggers.
- B vitamins support normal cell renewal.
- Oat flour is excellent here: avenanthramides are documented to calm reactive skin.
- Soothing additions many people like: a Dead Sea salt rinse, aloe vera gel.
Honest limits
Natural washes will not clear a flare. Use them as a gentle complement to the care your dermatologist prescribes.
